About Law and Humanities Tuition

My name is Louise, and for over 14 years, I have been dedicated to supporting students through one to one tuition. As an academic lawyer, legal educator, and history teacher, I bring a wealth of knowledge to my students. I serve as a senior examiner for both GCSE and A'levels, as well as a university-level assessor. My journey into education began when my own children were younger, transitioning from a corporate background. My eldest son, William, who faced learning challenges in 'normal' school, is now one of our tutors. He provides valuable learning challenges support, helping students with content knowledge and offering hints and tips for learning, especially for those with dyslexia and ADHD.

We believe that every student is unique and deserves a tailored approach to their education. We specialise in providing academic tutoring that supports all students, from gifted and talented learners to those facing learning challenges. There is no such thing as an average student, and each tutee or homeschooler we support is unique. Every young person, including those with recognised learning challenges such as neurodiversity, dyslexia, and dyspraxia, deserves the opportunity to achieve their potential. We focus on young people who feel like square pegs in round holes within mainstream education. Our one-to-one tuition helps find where they fit, rebuild their confidence, and assists them in achieving their goals.
